Single. Trailer. COROLLA: Quarter flared; wavy turned under petal
margins; opens purple (71A); matures light reddish purple (72C); 18mm
(11/16”) long x 12mm (7/16") wide. SEPALS: horizontal, tips recurved; dark
rose (71D) upper surface; magenta (67B) lower surface; 36mm (1 7/16") long
x 7mm (1/4") wide. TUBE: reddish purple (70B) striped pale pink (62D);
medium length & thickness; 17mm (5/8") long x 5mm (3/16") wide. STAMENS
extend 10mm (3/8”) beyond the corolla; reddish purple (71B) filaments;
dark reddish purple (64A) anthers. PISTIL extends 24mm (15/16") beyond the
corolla; magenta (71C) style; light violet (77D) stigma. BUD is elongate,
longish. FOLIAGE is dark green (136B) upper surface; medium green (138B)
lower surface. Leaves are 88mm (3 1/2") long x 41mm (1 5/8”) wide, ovate
shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins are plum (183D),
stems are light grayish rose (181D), branches are light grayish rose
(181D) & medium green (138B). PARENTAGE: 'Naaldwijk 800’ x ‘Delta’s Paljas’.
Natural trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket. Prefers overhead
filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered
light. Tested five years in Doetinchem, Belgium. Meise 8/12/06.
