AFS description:  ‘Huet’s Tjiftjaf’ – No 8512 (Braam 2015) Double. Upright. COROLLA: half flared, square shaped, smooth petal margins; opens violet blue (92A), rose (68B) flames; matures violet blue (91A); 20mm (3/4") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips recurved; light rose (68D) upper surface; rose (68B) lower surface; 15mm (9/16") long x 12mm (7/16") wide. TUBE is white (155B) striped light rose (63D); short, medium thickness; 10 mm (3/8") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. STAMENS extend 20mm (3/4”) beyond the corolla; rose (68C) filaments; reddish purple (67A) anthers. PISTIL extends 35mm (1 3/8”) beyond the corolla; rose (68C) style; pale yellow (158B) stigma. BUD is bulbous. FOLIAGE is dark green (137A) upper surface; medium green (137B) lower surface. Leaves are 40mm (1 9/16”) long x 30mm (1 3/16”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, obtuse bases. Veins & stems are green, branches are brown. PARENTAGE: ‘Huet’s Olivijn’ x ‘Huet’s Calamijn’. Tall upright. Self branching. Makes good upright, standard or pyramid. Prefers overhead filtered light, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering. Distinguished by bloom color & shape.
