AFS description: ‘Huet's Peridot’- No. 6010 (Braam 2006) Single. Upright. COROLLA is half flared with turned under, smooth petal margins; opens rose (68B); matures light magenta (66D); 24mm (15/16") long x 21mm (13/16") wide. SEPALS are fully up, tips reflexed; rose (55B), tipped yellowish green (145A) upper surface; dark rose (54B), tipped yellowish green (145A); 30mm (1 3/16") long x 11mm (7/16") wide. TUBE is pale pink (56B); medium length and thickness; 12mm (7/16") long x 7mm (1/4") wide. STAMENS extend 24mm (15/16") beyond the corolla; magenta (63B) filaments; light reddish purple (72D) anthers. PISTIL extends 37mm (1 7/16") beyond the corolla; rose (63C) style; pale lavender (69C) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE is dark green (136A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 54mm (2 1/8") long x 33mm (1 5/16") wide, ovate shaped, serrulate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins are light apple green (145B), stems and branches are light apple green (144D). PARENTAGE: 'Huet's Agaat' x [('Braamt's Glorie' x 'Sneewitchen') x 'Rosella']. Small upright, self branching. Makes good upright, standard. Prefers full sun or overhead filtered light, cool climate.
