| AFS description: ‘Huet’s Mimetiet’ – No 7742 (Braam 2011) Double. Upright. COROLLA: half flared, square shape, wavy petal margins; opens magenta (58B); matures dark rose (58C); 10mm (3/8") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. PETALOIDS: rose (61D); 3mm (1/8”) long x 3mm (1/8”) wide. SEPALS: half down, tips recurved; pink (62A) upper surface; rose (61D) tipped green lower surface; 25mm (1") long x 12mm (7/16") wide. TUBE: very pale orange (19D); medium length & thickness; 18mm (11/16”) long x 6mm (1/4”) wide. STAMENS extend 2mm (1/16”) beyond the corolla; light rose (58D) filaments; yellow (10C) anthers. PISTIL extends 10mm (3/8”) beyond the corolla; light rose (58D) style; yellow (10C) stigma. BUD: Long, elongated. FOLIAGE: medium green (143A) upper surface; light green (143D) lower surface. Leaves are 55mm (2 3/16") long x 35mm (1 3/8”) wide, elliptic shaped, serrulate edges, acute tips, obtuse bases. Veins are green, stems are reddish brown, branches are green. PARENTAGE: ‘WALZ Klavier’ x ‘Huet’s Topaas’. Medium upright. Self branching. Makes good upright or miniature. Prefers full sun, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in bright light.
