Bloem: enkel. Bloembuis: kort en dik; kleur: donker roodpaars (60B); afm. 7 x 6 mm. Kelkbladen: horizontaal, toppen omgebogen; buitenkant: magenta (59C); binnenkant: roodpaars (61B); afm. 18 x 8 mm. Kroonbladen: half uitstaand; afm. 14 x 15 mm.; kleur: paars (83A) met donker roodpaarse basis (60B) verkleurt naar paars (79D). Helmdraad: donker roodpaars; steekt 3 mm onder kroonblad uit. Helmknop: donkerpaars. Stijl: magenta; steekt 10 mm onder kroonblad uit. Stempel: paars. Bloei: normaal. Bloeitijd: normaal. Knop: bolvormig. Blad: groen; afm. 65 x 34 mm.; ovaalvormig;  puntige top; afgeronde voet; getand; groene steel en nerven; kleur: bovenkant (136B), onderkant (138B). Groeiwijze: kleine struik, zelfvertakkend. Kweekwijze: struik of stam voor  helder licht/zon. Bijzonderheden: bloeit lang door.
AFS description:   ‘Huet's Kwarts’- No. 6008 (Braam 2006) Single. Upright. COROLLA is half flared with turned under, wavy petal margins; opens purple (83A) with dark reddish purple (60B) base; matures purple (79D); 14mm (9/16") long x 15mm (9/16") wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips reflexed; magenta (59C), tipped yellowish green (146B) upper surface; reddish purple (61B), tipped yellowish green (146B); 18mm (11/16") long x 8mm (5/16") wide. TUBE is dark reddish purple (60B); short and thick; 7mm (1/4") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. STAMENS extend 3mm (1/8") beyond the corolla; dark reddish purple (60C) filaments; dark purple (79B) anthers. PISTIL extends 10mm (3/8") beyond the corolla; magenta (59C) style; purple (71A) stigma. BUD is bulbous. FOLIAGE is dark green (136B) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 65mm (2 9/16") long x 34mm (1 3/8") wide, ovate shaped, serrulate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins are light olive green (148C), stems are dark grayish red (182A), branches are dark grayish red (182A) and medium green (138B). PARENTAGE: ('Braamt's Glorie' x 'Rohees New Millennium') x 'Sacramento Bells'. Small upright, self branching.  Makes good upright, standard. Prefers full sun, warm climate.  Best bloom and foliage in limited light. Tested 5 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Meise 8/13/05.  Distinguished by bloom color and long blooming period.
