AFS description:   ‘Huet’s Kieviet’ – No 8491 (Braam 2015) Double. Upright. COROLLA: half flared, square shaped, wavy petal margins; opens purple (77A); matures reddish purple (58A); 30mm (1 3/16") long x 25mm (1") wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips recurved; white (155A), light pink (62C) base, upper surface; magenta (63B) lower surface; 30mm (1 3/16") long x 20mm (3/4") wide. TUBE is light pink (62C); medium length & thickness; 12 mm (7/16") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. STAMENS extend 30mm (1 3/16”) beyond the corolla; rose (68C) filaments; purple (77A) anthers. PISTIL extends 35mm (1 3/8”) beyond the corolla; light rose (68D) style; yellowish white (158A) stigma. BUD is bulbous. FOLIAGE is dark green (136A) upper surface; medium green (136C) lower surface. Leaves are 50mm (2”) long x 35mm (1 3/8”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins, stems & branches are green. PARENTAGE: ‘Guurtje’ x ‘Huet’s Labradoriet’. Tall upright. Self branching. Makes good upright, standard or pyramid. Heat tolerant if shaded, prefers warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in limited light. Tested 3 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands.
