AFS description: ‘Huet's Kakortokiet’- No. 8329 (Braam 2014) Single. Trailer. COROLLA: quarter flared, wavy petal margins, square shape; opens purple (81B); matures reddish purple (80B); 20mm (3/4") long x 20mm (3/4") wide. SEPALS are fully up, tips recurved, twisted left to right; rose (65A) tipped green upper surface; light pink (65B) tipped green lower surface; 40mm (1 9/16") long x 8mm (5/16") wide. TUBE is rose (68B); long & thin; 20mm (3/4”) long x 3mm (1/8") wide. STAMENS extend 15mm (9/16”) beyond the corolla; magenta (63A) filaments; dark reddish purple (60A) anthers. PISTIL extends 5mm (3/16”) beyond the corolla; light rose (63D) style; cream (158C) stigma. BUD is narrow. FOLIAGE is medium green (138A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 30mm (1 3/16”) long x 15mm (9/16”) wide, elliptic shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, obtuse bases. Veins & stems are medium green (138B), branches are olive green (152B). PARENTAGE: ‘Huet’s Alexandriet’ x ‘Huet’s Labradoriet’. Natural trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket or miniature. Prefers full sun, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in bright light.
