Bloem: dubbel. Bloembuis: lichtroze (65D); afm. 15 x 7 mm. Kelkbladen: bovenkant: wit/roze (65D); onderkant: roze (67D); afm. 35 x 15 mm. Kroonbladen: lichtpaarse petaloiden (76C) 10mm, kroonbladeren paars (76B) met roze basis, verkleurend naar paars (76A) met roze basis; driekwart uitstaand; afm. 25 x 25 mm. Helmdraad: roodpaars, 20 mm onder kroonblad uit. Helmknop: roodpaars. Stijl: roze, 35 mm onder kroonblad. Stempel: geel. Bloei: normaal. Blad: bovenkant groen (136A), onderkant groen (137C); ovaalvormig blad met puntige top en hartvormige voet; gave rand; afm. 55 x 37 mm. Groeiwijze: halfhanger. Kweekwijze: stam, halfhanger of struik voor plaats in  gefilterd licht. Bijzonderheden: bloeit gemakkelijk, mooie kleurcombinatie in de bloem.

 

 

AFS description:   ‘Huet's Hyacint’- No. 7559 (Braam 2010) Double. Upright/Trailer. COROLLA: three quarter flared, square shaped, wavy petal margins; opens violet (76B), pink base; matures violet (76A), pink base; 25mm (1") long x 25mm (1") wide. PETALOIDS: pale purple (76C); 10mm (3/8”) long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. SEPALS: horizontal, tips recurved; pale lavender (65D) upper surface; rose (67D) lower surface; 35mm (1 3/8") long x 15mm (9/16") wide. TUBE is pale lavender (65D); medium length & thickness; 15mm (9/16") long x 7mm (1/4") wide. STAMENS extend 20mm (3/4”) beyond the corolla; reddish purple (67A) filaments; dark rose (67C) anthers. PISTIL extends 35mm (1 3/8”) beyond the corolla; pink (62B) style; yellowish white (158A) stigma. BUD is globular. FOLIAGE is dark green (136A) upper surface; medium green (137C) lower surface. Leaves are 55mm (2 3/16") long x 37mm (1 7/16”) wide, ovate shaped, smooth edges, acute tips, cordate bases. Veins & stems are light green (139D), branches are plum (184C). PARENTAGE: ‘Huet’s Alpaca’ x ‘Huet’s Draviet’. Lax upright or stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket, upright or standard. Prefers overhead filtered light, warm climate. Heat tolerant if shaded. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands.  Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering. Distinguished by flower color combination.
