wavy petal margins; opens purple (82A); matures purple (82B); 20mm (3/4")
long x 25mm (1") wide. PETALOIDS: reddish purple (80B); 12mm (7/16”) long
x 5mm (3/16”) wide. SEPALS: fully up, tips reflexed; light rose (58D)
upper surface; magenta (58B) lower surface; 30mm (1 3/16") long x 15mm
(9/16") wide. TUBE is peach (37B); short, medium thickness; 8mm (5/16")
long x 5mm (3/16") wide. STAMENS extend 15mm (9/16”) beyond the corolla;
dark reddish purple (61A) filaments & anthers. PISTIL extends 25mm (1”)
beyond the corolla; dark rose (58C) style; light yellow (10D) stigma. BUD
is globular. FOLIAGE is medium green (143A) upper surface; light green
(143C) lower surface. Leaves are 45mm (1 3/4") long x 25mm (1”) wide,
ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, cordate bases. Veins are
yellowish green (145A), stems are pink (37C), branches are dark red
(185A). PARENTAGE: ‘La Campanella’ x ‘Lye’s Excelsior’. Lax upright or
stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket or upright. Prefers full
sun, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in bright light. Tested 3
years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering.
