| AFS description: ‘Huet's Eosiet’- No. 8324 (Braam 2014) Single. Upright. COROLLA: quarter flared, wavy petal margins, bell shape; opens violet (84A); matures light violet (84B); 15mm (9/16") long x 15mm (9/16") wide. PETALOIDS: magenta (63B); 15mm (9/16”) long x 4mm (1/8”) wide. SEPALS are fully up, tips reflexed; red (45C) tipped yellow upper surface; red (45D) tipped green lower surface; 30mm (1 3/16") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. TUBE is red (45C); medium length, thin; 10mm (3/8”) long x 3mm (1/8") wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; light pink (62C) filaments; white (155B) anthers. PISTIL does not extend beyond the corolla; red (46C) style; dark red (46A) stigma. BUD is oblong. FOLIAGE is dark green (141B) upper surface; medium green (139B) lower surface. Leaves are 55mm (2 3/16”) long x 20mm (3/4”) wide, elliptic shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, obtuse bases. Veins & stems are medium green (139B), branches are grayish red (181C). PARENTAGE: (‘Kaleidoscope’ x ‘Lavaglut’) x ‘Huet’s Petaliet’. Medium upright. Self branching. Makes good upright or standard. Prefers full sun, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in bright light. Tested 3 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering. Distinguished by flower color combination & shape. | |||
