Semi-double. Upright. COROLLA: three quarter flared, square shape,
wavy petal margins; opens pink (55C); matures light pink (55D); 15mm
(9/16") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. PETALOIDS: rose (55B); 8mm (5/16”)
long x 4mm (1/8”) wide. SEPALS: horizontal, tips recurved; pale pink
(36D), rose (50B) at base upper surface; pink (49A) tipped green
lower surface; 30mm (1 3/16") long x 12mm (7/16") wide. TUBE: pale
pink (36D); medium length & thickness; 25mm (1”) long x 10mm (3/8”)
wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; red (50A) filaments;
light yellowish green (158C) anthers. PISTIL extends 22mm (7/8”)
beyond the corolla; pale pink (49D) style; pale yellow (158B)
stigma. BUD: Long, round. FOLIAGE: dark green (139A) upper surface;
medium green (139C) lower surface. Leaves are 60mm (2 3/8") long x
42mm (1 5/8”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, rounded
bases. Veins, stems & branches are green. PARENTAGE: ‘Herps Schalmei’
x (‘WALZ Klavier’ x ‘Impala’). Tall upright. Makes good upright,
standard, pyramid or pillar. Prefers full sun, warm climate. Best
bloom & foliage color in bright light. Tested 3 years in
Doetinchem, The Netherlands.
