AFS description: ‘Huet's Chloriet’- No. 8261 (Braam 2013) Semi-double. Upright/Trailer. COROLLA: half flared, square shaped, wavy petal margins; opens violet (76A); matures light reddish purple (73A); 25mm (1”) long x 25mm (1”) wide. PETALOIDS: rose (64D); 15mm (9/16”) long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. SEPALS are fully up, tips recurved, twisted from right to left; light greenish white (157C), light rose (73C) base, upper surface; light rose (73B) tipped white lower surface; 30mm (1 3/16") long x 15mm (9/16") wide. TUBE is greenish white (157B); medium length & thickness; 12mm (7/16") long x 5mm (3/16”) wide. STAMENS extend 15mm (9/16”) beyond the corolla; light reddish purple (72C) filaments; orangish white (159C) anthers. PISTIL extends 30mm (1 3/16”) beyond the corolla; white (155D) style; very pale orange (159B) stigma. BUD is bulbous. FOLIAGE is yellowish green (144A) upper surface; yellowish green (144B) lower surface. Leaves are 65mm (2 9/16") long x 45mm (1 3/4") wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins & stems are apple green (144C), branches are olive green (148A). PARENTAGE: ‘Paris Je T’aime’ x ‘Lyn Ellen’. Lax upright or stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket or upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering.
