| AFS description: ‘Huet’s Binniet’ – No 7725 (Braam 2011) Double. Upright/Trailer. COROLLA: three quarter flared, square shape, smooth petal margins; opens purple (80A), dark purple (78A) base; matures reddish purple (58A); 40mm (1 9/16") long x 30mm (1 3/16") wide. PETALOIDS: Same color as corolla; 20mm (3/4”) long x 10mm (3/8”) wide. SEPALS: half up, tips reflexed up; red (45B) tipped green upper surface; red (46C) lower surface; 40mm (1 9/16") long x 20mm (3/4”) wide. TUBE: red (45C); medium length & thickness; 15mm (9/16”) long x 7mm (1/4”) wide. STAMENS extend 30mm (1 3/16”) beyond the corolla; magenta (57B) filaments; cream (158C) anthers. PISTIL extends 35mm (1 3/8”) beyond the corolla; magenta (57B) style; cream (158C) stigma. BUD: Round, big. FOLIAGE: grayish green (189A) upper surface; grayish green (191B) lower surface. Leaves are 75mm (3") long x 40mm (1 9/16”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, rounded bases. Veins are green, stems & branches are reddish brown. PARENTAGE: [(‘Kaleidoscope’ x ‘Lavaglut’) x (‘Guurtje’ x ‘Centenary’)] x ‘Huet’s Bixbiet’. Lax upright or stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good basket, upright, standard or pyramid.
