2005) Double. Upright. COROLLA is half flared with turned under wavy petal
margins; opens light rose (73B), white (155C) base, edged violet (76A);
matures light rose (73C), edged violet (76B); 29mm (1 1/8”) long x 20mm
(13/16”) wide. PETALOIDS: light rose (73B), white (155C) base, edged
violet (75A); 22mm (7/8”) long x 7mm (1/4”) wide. SEPALS are half up, tips
recurved up; twisted clockwise; light pink (55D), white (155C) base,
tipped light apple green (145B) upper surface; pink (55C), white (155C)
base, tipped light apple green (145B) lower surface; 31mm (1 1/4”) long x
9mm (3/8”) wide. TUBE is white (155C); medium length & thickness; 10mm
(3/8”) long x 4mm (3/16”) wide. STAMENS extend 9mm (3/8”) beyond the
corolla; rose (68B) filaments; dark reddish purple (70A) anthers. PISTIL
extends 14mm (9/16”) below the corolla; pale lavender (69D) style; light
yellow (2C) stigma. BUD is elongated. FOLIAGE: dark green (139A) upper
surface; medium green (138A) lower surface. Leaves are 52mm (2 1/16”) long
x 31mm (1 1/4”) wide, ovate shaped, serrulated edges, acute tips and
rounded bases. Veins are light green (139D); stems & branches are medium
green (138B). PARENTAGE: ‘Jenny Sorensen’ x ‘Heston Blue’. Small upright.
Self branching. Makes good upright. Prefers overhead filtered light, cool
climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested three years
in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Meise 8-14-04. Distinguished by color
