AFS description: ‘Huet’s Arthuriet’ – No 7721 (Braam 2011) Single. Upright/Trailer. COROLLA: unflared, bell shape, smooth petal margins; opens dark purple (89A); matures dark violet (87A); 25mm (1") long x 15mm (9/16") wide. SEPALS: half up, tips reflexed up; dark red (53A) upper surface; red (53B) lower surface; 30mm (1 3/16") long x 15mm (9/16”) wide. TUBE: dark red (53A); medium length & thickness; 20mm (3/4”) long x 15mm (9/16”) wide. STAMENS extend 2mm (1/16”) beyond the corolla; pink (62A) filaments; rose (63C) anthers. PISTIL extends 25mm (1”) beyond the corolla; pink (62B) style; pale yellow (158B) stigma. BUD: Long, round. FOLIAGE: grayish green (189A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 70mm (2 3/4") long x 32mm (1 1/4”) wide, elliptic shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, acute bases. Veins & stems are reddish brown, branches are green. PARENTAGE: (‘Lord Byron’ x ‘Huet’s Koraal’) x ‘Huet’s Waveliet’. Lax upright or stiff trailer. Self branching. Makes good upright, standard or pyramid. Prefers full sun & warm climate.
