2006) Double. Trailer. COROLLA is half flared with turned under, wavy
petal margins; opens light magenta (66D) with light reddish purple (73A)
edge; matures light reddish purple (66C); 29mm (1 1/8") long x 32mm (1
1/4") wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips recurved; dark rose (58C), tipped
apple green (144C) upper surface; red (53D), tipped apple green (144C);
42mm (1 5/8") long x 14mm (9/16") wide. TUBE is white (155C), striped dark
rose (58C); short & thick; 15mm (9/16") long x 9mm (5/16") wide. STAMENS
extend 4mm (1/8") beyond the corolla; magenta (59D) filaments; reddish
purple (59B) anthers. PISTIL extends 6mm (1/4") beyond the corolla;
magenta (58B) style; light rose (68D) stigma. BUD is oblong. FOLIAGE is
dark green (136B) upper surface; medium green (139C) lower surface. Leaves
are 82mm (3 1/4") long x 37mm (1 7/16") wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges,
acute tips, rounded bases. Veins are light yellowish green (146D), stems
are light olive green (147C) and light grayish red (182C), branches are
light green (143D) and light grayish red (182C). PARENTAGE: 'Kiwi' x 'Enid
Carter'. Natural trailer, self branching. Makes good basket. Prefers full
sun or overhead filtered light, cool climate. Best bloom and foliage in
bright or filtered light. Tested 3 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands.
