Bloem: enkel, opstaand; . Bloembuis: kort, dik ; kleur: donkerroze (58C); afm. 7 x 6 mm. Kelkbladen: horizontaal, toppen omhoog gebogen, toppen geelgroen; buitenkant: roodpaars (58A); binnenkant: roodpaars (61B); afm. 17 x 9 mm. Kroonbladen: half uitstaand; afm. 15 x 15 mm.; kleur: opent paars (77A) met roodpaarse basis (61B), rijpe bloem roodpaars (72B). Helmdraad: roodpaars; steekt 3 mm onder kroonblad uit. Helmknop: donkerpaars. Stijl: donker roze; steekt 10 mm onder kroonblad uit. Stempel: roze. Bloei: normaal. Bloeitijd: lang. Knop: bolvormig. Blad: groen; afm. 47 x 35 mm.; hartvormig;  puntige top; hartvormige voet; getand; rode steel en nerven; kleur: bovenkant (136A), onderkant (138B). Groeiwijze: kleine struik, zelfvertakkend. Kweekwijze: struik of stam voor  helder licht/zon. Bijzonderheden: bloeit lang door.

AFS description:   ‘Huet's Akabar’- No. 5711 (Braam 2005) Single. Upright. COROLLA is half flared with turned under wavy petal margins; opens purple (77A), reddish purple (61B) base; matures reddish purple (72B); 15mm (9/16”) long x 15mm (9/16”) wide. SEPALS are horizontal, tips reflexed; reddish purple (58A) tipped yellowish green (145A) upper surface; reddish purple (61B) lower surface; 17mm (11/16”) long x 9mm (3/8”) wide. TUBE is dark rose (58C); short & thick; 7mm (1/4”) long x 6mm (1/4”) wide. STAMENS extend 3mm (1/8”) beyond the corolla; reddish purple (64B) filaments; dark purple (79B) anthers. PISTIL extends 10mm (3/8”) below the corolla; dark rose (64C) style; pink (62C) stigma. BUD is bulbous. FOLIAGE: dark green (136A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 47mm (1 7/8”) long x 35mm (1 3/8”) wide, cordate shaped, serrated edges, obtuse tips and cordate bases. Veins are dark red purple (187D); stems are dark red purple (187D) & medium green (138B); branches are dark red purple (187C) & medium green (138B). PARENTAGE: ‘Zelhem 1200’ x ‘Sacramento Bells’. Small upright. Self branching. Makes good upright or standard. Prefers full sun, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in bright light. Tested three years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Meise 8-14-04. Distinguished by rich blooming period.
