AFS description:   ‘Huet’s Adelaar’ – No 8478 (Braam 2015) Single. Upright. COROLLA: half flared, square shaped, wavy petal margins; opens violet (84A) & pink (62B); matures light violet (84B) & light pink (62C); 10mm (3/8") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. SEPALS are half down, tips recurved; pale (158B) upper surface; pale pink (62D) lower surface; 20mm (3/4") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. TUBE is pale yellow (158B); short, medium thickness; 8mm (5/16") long x 6mm (1/4”) wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; light pink (62C) filaments; white (155A) anthers. PISTIL extends 5mm (3/16”) beyond the corolla; pink (62B) style; light pink (62C) stigma. BUD is bulbous. FOLIAGE is dark green (137A) upper surface; medium green (137B) lower surface. Leaves are 50mm (2”) long x 35mm (1 3/8”) wide, ovate shaped, serrate edges, acute tips, obtuse bases. Veins stems & branches are green. PARENTAGE: ‘Huet’s Serpentijn’ x ‘Huet’s Tremoliet’. Tall upright. Self branching. Makes good standard, upright or pyramid. Prefers overhead filtered light, warm climate. Best bloom & foliage color in filtered light. Tested 3 years in Doetinchem, The Netherlands. Fuchsia Nieuwigheden Certificering. Distinguished by color combination & shape.
